School As a fully accredited Forest School,  learners have regular opportunities to achieve whilst developing confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in our very own woodland  environment. Our
Schools Alver Valley Schools are set in extensive grounds close to the Alver Valley Country Park in Gosport. Every key stage has it's own large play equipment as well as a very large grassed playing field and a newly refurbished all-weather sports ground.
We are loving the Year 6 residential updates. Chil We are loving the Year 6 residential updates. Children and staff have had a really busy couple of days exploring the grounds and local beach, listening to stories in the Anglo-Saxon longhouse, and learning more about the woodland animals who live around the centre. Today’s adventures have included lots of team building activities, shelter building, fire lighting, an obstacle course (earthquake), some clay art, and a wildlife photographer show to finish the day. All the children are being well fed and having plenty of fresh air and exercise. #alvervalleyschools #alvervalley

You can book a school tour during the school day to see learning in action and/or come along to an open afternoon stay and play session when the school day has finished to meet the team and explore and play in our Yr R classrooms. Forest School is a favourite part of the week for Forest School is a favourite part of the week for our Year R classes We had a fabulous day today visiting our landmark tree, rolling down the hill and exploring the woods. There were lots of characters from our focus story - the Gruffalo - hiding in the woods. We loved the Gruffalo kitchen mud play, and had the best time in the hammock and on the slack line. #forestschool #gruffalo
What a fabulous time we had in school today, celeb What a fabulous time we had in school today, celebrating our Harvest Festival. We were joined by Rev Vickie from @st_marys_church_rowner who helped us to think about why we celebrate Harvest. The children created Harvest displays, joined in with a Harvest poem, and sang their Harvest songs brilliantly. Thanks to the support of our families we collected so much food for the local food bank that it was hard to fit it all in the vehicle 🚗 All the food will go towards helping those in our community who need a little extra help. Thank you so much Alver Valley for your generosity. #harvest #5waystowellbeing #give #generosity
