An introduction from Lucy Westmacott, our Family and Safeguarding Officer

Hello, some of you will already know me or have seen me around the school. I am Lucy and I am the Family and Safeguarding Officer at The Federation of Alver Valley Schools. I am one of four Designated Safeguarding Lead team members at the school. The other DSLs, who I work closely with, are Mrs Roseblade (who is the Designated Safeguarding Lead), Mrs Lockwood and Mrs Russell, who along with myself are Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.

This page provides safeguarding information and guidance and is a place where parents can find support and advice. I am also available to offer support, advice and signposting to families. My working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

If you would like to meet with me to discuss something you and your child need support with, or to ask for information about other services that are available, please contact the School Office and ask for Lucy. I will contact you and arrange a time for us to meet.

I hope the links below will be useful to you!
