At Alver Valley Schools we believe everyone has the right to be treated with equality, equity and respect. Every pupil has the right to be listened to and taken seriously. (UNCRC Article 12)

Our world is incredible! We’re made up of many different cultures, races, colours and beliefs, interests and skills, abilities and challenges. The Alver Valley Schools community is growing in diversity. This amazing diversity gives us reason to celebrate our shared humanity, and whilst our school community may not yet represent the full tapestry of the world, we aim to give our children experiences that do. We want to help our children see the richness of the world and see themselves as part of the world community. At Alver Valley Schools we help our pupils to value and respect difference, to stand up for what is right, and see that, whatever their own background, everyone is valued.
