Progression in mark making into writing in EYFS
At Alver Valley Schools we use the following document in Nursery through to Reception to support progression in mark making and writing. We add children’s names to their most appropriate next step to be scaffolded. We move their name when they have embedded this skill and/or when another skill becomes the most pressing area of
